A mum is set to shave her head to raise money and awareness for a cancer charity in honour of her father.
Suzanne Mee, known as Suzi, of Larchfield Road, is set to ‘brave the shave’ on Saturday, October 1, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The mum-of-two has been inspired by her dad Mike Clarke, who has repeatedly defied the odds since being diagnosed with cancer in July 2015 and being given six months to live.
She said: “My hair is always down to my back so I just thought why not? It grows back.”
