A ‘soft and cuddly’ Cavachon puppy is set to get even more attention from his owners after being named winner of this year’s Advertiser Top Pet competition.
Six-month-old Teddy and his owner Victoria Peacock beat stiff competition to win £50 worth of Nicholsons Centre vouchers and a framed photograph of her and Teddy, taken by one of our professional photographers.
Victoria, 33, from Osney Road, Maidenhead, who has two children, Isla, five, and Leo, three, chose Teddy, a cross between a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and a Bichon Frise, because the breed is really good with young children and families.
As to why Teddy won, Victoria said: “I don’t know really. He is really friendly and just loves people.
“Maybe that came across in his photo?”
