The regeneration of Maidenhead is continuing to take shape, with the first two phases of Shanly Homes’s Chapel Arches development due for completion this autumn.
The scheme forms a major part of the Maidenhead Waterways project, which is in turn being heavily promoted as a feature of the apartments.
When finished, it is expected to provide 242 homes, as well as about 30,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant and office space.
A commercial tenant is yet to be confirmed for the first phase of the site, known as the Picture House, but negotiations are understood to be at an advanced stage.
Nigel Sawers, sales and marketing director for Shanly Homes’s Thames Valley division, said: “With Chapel Arches playing a major part in the redevelopment of Maidenhead, we expect to see continued interest from a variety of buyers at the scheme.
“Anyone can see the potential of Maidenhead and people are keen to be part of its transformation.”
