A 41-year-old from Maidenhead has been found guilty at Reading Crown Court of three counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
Anthony Bharji, of Ellington Park, was also found guilty today of two counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration, one count of attempted voyeurism, and making an indecent photograph of a child.
He was found not guilty of one count of attempted voyeurism.
The crimes took place between 2010 and 2014.
Matthew Walsh, prosecuting, presented evidence on Wednesday by reading out a transcript from Bharji’s police interview in 2014.
In it, Bharji described the victim’s claims as a ‘proper, proper lie.’
In a second interview on Friday, October 23 last year, police told him they found indecent images of children on a computer belonging to Bharji, which included footage of a girl, who appeared to be under 16, getting changed.
A date for Bharji’s sentencing has not yet been set.
