Police appeal after Toby Carvery break-in

James Harrison

Police are appealing for information following a break-in at a Maidenhead restaurant.

Cash was stolen from a fruit machine after a thief smashed the glass on a fire door to get into Stafferton Lodge Toby Carvery, in Braywick Road, at about 2.45am on Sunday.

Officers searched the area, which is next to Maidenhead Rugby Club and SportsAble, and found a black holdall containing a crow bar and a hammer.

No arrests have been made.

Call police on 101 with information.
