A traditional English afternoon tea in the park was put on to thank the supporters of the Alley Group.
The group meets once a month at various areas
in Maidenhead to tidy up rubbish, clean alleyways and surrounding areas and report any flytipping.
On Saturday the team enjoyed a break in Kidwells Park with tea and cake where they were joined by Royal Borough councillors Adam Smith, Marion Mills and Lisa Targowska.
The Alley Group, now in its third year, was given a big boost in the form of a donation from Cllr Adam Smith’s community budget, which enabled it to buy some much needed equipment.
