Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by car on Ascot Road

A 26-year-old woman was seriously injured after she was hit by a car while walking along the A330 Ascot Road on Thursday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the pedestrian was hit by a Toyota AYGO in Holyport as she travelled away from Maidenhead towards Bracknell at about 5pm.

She suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Investigating officer, PC Tom Roberts of the Roads Policing Unit in Taplow said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything relating to this incident.

“We are particularly interested in anyone who saw a blue Toyota at the relevant times.”
