Maidenhead United’s latest loan signing Jaiden Celestine-Charles played his part in Saturday’s 2-1 victory away to Horsham.

The 6ft3 forward came on as a second half substitute for Liam Dulson – who’d earlier missed from the penalty spot – and helped the Magpies gain momentum as the match wore on.

United won the game in stoppage time thanks to a brilliant strike from midfielder Matt Robinson.

News of Celestine-Charles’ arrival on loan from Millwall was announced by the club ahead of the game on Saturday.

He started the match at Horsham on the bench before coming on in the 77th minute.

The towering forward joined Millwall’s u21s squad last summer having spent time at Burnham and Wealdstone’s academy.

Celestine-Charles scored 16 goals in 33 appearances for Ben Murray’s Burnham side during the 2023/24 season before signing for Millwall in August 2024. He joined the Lions after impressing the club’s head of emerging talents, Lucas Millgate, in a pre-season trial.

Having bolstered their attacking options, Maidenhead have seen their defensive and midfield options weakened by the departure of Kai Yearn and Chanse Headman following the conclusion of their loan deals.

Midfielder Yearn signed a loan deal from Coventry City in the summer, while defender Headman joined on a short-term loan deal from Brentford B in early December. Headman also scored in the club’s 3-1 win at Hampton & Richmond Borough last month.

The club said: “We would like to thank both Kai and Chanse for their contributions in a Maidenhead shirt and wish them all the very best for the future.”
