Maidenhead United boss Alan Devonshire has been nominated for the National League South manager of the month award for September following his side’s impressive league victories.
The Magpies won all three of their league matches in September against Bath City (4-0), Chelmsford City (2-1) and Maidstone United (1-0), however, a perfect month was spoiled by their 1-0 home defeat to Faversham Town in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Striker Josh Popoola is also shortlisted for player of the month after scoring twice in the win at Bath City and the late winner in the Magpies’ home win over Chelmsford City at York Road.
Devonshire has been shortlisted alongside Scott Bartlett (Weston-super-Mare), Dominic Di Paola (Horsham) and Chris Agutter (Worthing).
The four players nominated for player of the month are Temi Babalola (Worthing), Josh Popoola (Maidenhead United), Max Harris (Weston-super-Mare) and Bobby Unwin (Tonbridge Angels).
