Maidenhead United have signed forward Shawn McCoulsky on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
McCoulsky’s previous clubs include Walton Casuals, Forest Green Rovers, Bromley, FC Halifax Town and most recently League 2 side Colchester United.
He will wear the number 20 during his time at York Road.
McCoulsky joins a Magpies side that are on the up after consecutive victories over promotion challengers Chesterfield and Halifax. They visit Stockport County this evening although it’s unclear if the forward was signed in time to be registered for the league game.
The 25-year-old began his career at Dulwich Hamlet and, after a move to Bristol City in 2015, he had loan spells with Weston-super-mare, Torquay United, Bath City, Newport County, and Southend United. He joined Forest Green Rovers in 2019 and had two further loan spells with Bromley and Halifax and linked up with Colchester in 2021 after his release from Forest Green.
He made his debut from the bench in Colchester’s 4-0 FA Cup first round win against AFC Sudbury on November 5, scoring the U’s fourth goal in the third minute of stoppage time. He left the club in January following the end of his short-term contract.

Due to Dagenham & Redbridge’s continued involvement in the FA Trophy, the Magpies trip to play the Daggers has been switched to Tuesday, March 1, 7.45pm kick-off. Ticket details will be released for the fixture in due course.
