Maidenhead United’s home fixtures against Yeovil Town and Stockport County have been rearranged with the Glovers now set to visit York Road on Saturday, January 16.
The home fixture with Yeovil has been brought forward from Tuesday, January 26 to Saturday, January 16 with a 3pm kick-off, but even with this the Magpies will only have played one league match in six weeks during what is usually one of the busiest times in the calendar. United’s matches against Barnet on Monday (December 28) and Wealdstone on January 2 have been postponed due to COVID-19 events in the opposition camps.
Both Maidenhead and Yeovil agreed to bring the fixture forward with permission from the National League.
The Magpies home fixture with Stockport County has also been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 7.45pm kick-off, due to the Hatters continued involvement in the FA Cup.
The club also confirmed yesterday (Wednesday) new dates for two other league fixtures. Following the postponement of this Saturday’s game, they’ll now visit Wealdstone on Tuesday, February 2 (7.45pm kick-off).
Their home match against Dover Athletic will now take place on Tuesday, March 2, 7.45pm kick-off.
