Maidenhead United striker Danny Whitehall could be set for a move north of the border after attracting interest from Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock.
The Daily Record reported last week the 24-year-old was on trial with the Rugby Park outfit after impressing for Maidenhead in the National League last season.
The front man notched 13 goals in 22 starts for Alan Devonshire’s side leading to plenty of interest in the striker from professional clubs.
Whitehall was recommended to the Magpies last season by new coach Eddie Keen, whose father Kevin Keen played for West Ham.
The Warrington-born striker made his name in the States playing for Nebraska Bugeaters, Hastings College, SIUE Cougars and Chattanooga FC.
Former clubs in this country include Liverpool, Rochdale, Southport and Marine FC.
