Maidenhead United have signed QPR forward Odysseus Alfa on a month’s loan.
The 20-year-old has been on loan at Billericay Town for the first half of the season and netted in the side’s 2-2 draw with Slough Town at the weekend.
In a busy performance he was a handful for the Rebels' defence and also struck the inside of the post before drawing the hosts level with a deflected shot.
Manager Alan Devonshire will be hoping Alfa can supply and score the goals needed to drag the side away from the relegation scrap. The Magpies currently sit 18th in the National League, five points above the drop zone.
He’ll initially link up with the Magpies until February 29, but should he prove to be a success it’s likely the Magpies will look to extend the loan.
Alfa could go straight into the Magpies squad for Saturday’s trip to play 10th placed Halifax Town.
