Maidenhead completed the signing of former Crystal Palace front man Ibra Sekajja last week.
Sekajja, who came off the bench in the final minutes of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Aldershot, made his professional debut for Palace against Hull City in April 2011, scoring an 88th minute equaliser with his first touch.
Since then he’s enjoyed spells with the MK Dons and spent much of his time north of the border with Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Livingston.
United have also done a loan deal with Brentford B prospect Jaden Brissett.
Brissett has arrived on a one-month loan deal. The 18-year-old joined the Bees on an 18-month contract in January, having previously been at Norwich City’s academy.
Chief scout Lee Devonshire was delighted to land the forward. He said: “He’s a young, pacy wide forward with an eye for goal who adds to our forward options. Once again our strong relationship with Brentford made the deal possible and we thank them.”
