Maidenhead United drawn at home to Binfield in first round of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup

Maidenhead United will host Binfield in the first round of the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup, with ties to be played before the end of the week ending November 17.

The Magpies won the competition two seasons ago, narrowly beating Hungerford Town in the final at Arbour Park a few weeks before they made their bow in the National League.

Last season they beat Holmer Green and Aylesbury United in the competition before losing on penalty kicks (4-3) to Reading, following a 1-1 draw at York Road.

Reading went on to meet Slough Town in the final with the Rebels lifting the cup following a 3-1 win at Larges Lane. Sam Togwell, Manny Williams and Josh Jackman got their goals.

Slough, MK Dons, Reading and Wycombe Wanderers have received a bye for this round.

Selected other first round ties see Marlow host Windsor, Flackwell Heath entertain Didcot Town and Ascot United at home to Beaconsfield Town.
