Maidenhead United will be back at York Road this evennig as they continue their pre-season campaign – albeit against very different opposition than they are used to.
The Magpies will take on the Kuwait national side in preparation for the National League – which kicks off on August 3 against Stockport County live on BT Sport.
Tonight’s match against the Blue Wave, Kuwait’s nickname, will be both sides third pre-season match, with Alan Devonshire’s men beating Ascot United (3-2) and Bracknell Town (1-0) this weekend, while Kuwait have enjoyed wins over Hungerford Town (1-0) and Marlow FC (3-2) during their training camp in England.
The match kicks off at 7:30pm and will be open to the public. Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for Under 16 with a limited number of matchday programmes available to be bought on the night.
