Club captain Alan Massey
Alan Massey and James Comley, two players instrumental to Maidenhead United's survival this season, have committed themselves to the club for another campaign.
Massey and Comley both played a vital role in getting the club promoted two seasons ago and have helped consolidate the Magpies as a National League outfit.
Massey was one of Alan Devonshire's first signings. He joined from Braintree Town in May 2015 and was immediately installed as captain, making 190 appearances over the past four seasons.
Montserrat international Comley was initially signed on loan from St Albans City in February 2016 before making the move permanent later that summer. He's played 131 times for the Stripes.
Both played a pivotal role in guiding the Magpies away from the bottom four with their performances in the second half of this season.
Massey produced a number of heroic displays in central defence, most notably in the 2-1 victory over Havant & Waterlooville at York Road in March which all but secured United's National League status.
Comley was often the lynchpin for the side, knitting things together in midfield, setting the tempo and producing several man-of-the-match displays.
