Maidenhead United will take on Oxford City at York Road in the first round of the FA Trophy.

The draw for the first round of the Trophy took place at Wembley on Monday afternoon and the Magpies were handed a home draw with the National League South outfit.

The tie will take place on Saturday, December 15, 3pm kick-off.

The Court Place Farm side are currently 16th in the National League South but have been in formidable cup form this season. They earned a 3-3 draw at League 2 side Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup and thrashed Chelmsford City 4-0 in the final qualifying round of the Trophy to reach this stage on Saturday.

This evening (Tuesday) the Magpies welcome Ebbsfleet United to York Road in the National League (7.45pm kick-off).

The sides played out two competitive 1-1 draws last season.

Dave Tarpey has re-signed on loan for the Magpies and should go straight into the squad for tonight’s game.

The Magpies will be looking to build on Saturday’s impressive 1-0 win at Sutton United, a result which lifted them out of the relegation zone.
