Home draw for Maidenhead United or Stockport County in FA Trophy, while Windsor get tough away draw in FA Vase

Maidenhead United will host National League North outfit Brackley Town in the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy - if they can overcome Stockport County in tomorrow night’s (Tuesday) replay.

The Magpies were held to a 1-1 draw by County at York Road on Saturday, where Ryan Upward swept home a second half volley to cancel out Matty Warburton’s eighth minute strike.

If United were to get past Jim Gannon’s County they’d match their best ever run in the competition.

Brackley Town made it through to the final eight after pulling off arguably the result of the third round by beating Sutton United 3-1 at home. They’re currently third in the National League North, and haven’t lost since their 2-0 defeat to Bradford PA on November 18.

The quarter-final ties will take place on Saturday, February 24. The draw was made live on TalkSport Radio this lunchtime. Five of Saturday’s third round matches have gone to a replay.

The draw in full: Maidenhead United/Stockport County v Brackley Town; Harrogate Town/Billericay Town v Wealdstone; Leyton Orient v Maidstone United/Gateshead; Workington/Bromley v Spennymoor/East Thurrock United.

Windsor will face a big trip up to the North East after being drawn away to Stockton Town in the FA Vase quarter-finals.

The Royalists, who comfortably overcame Hamble Club FC 2-0 in Saturday’s last 16 tie, avoided their Hellenic League rivals Thatcham Town and Bracknell Town in the quarter-finals, but face a tricky away tie against Northern League Division 1 opponents.

Stockton overcame Stourport Swifts 3-0 in the fifth round on Saturday. The Vase quarter final ties will also take place on February 24.

Vase draw in full: Bracknell Town v Marske; Melksham v Thatcham Town; Stockton Town v Windsor; Wolverhampton SC/Leighton v 1874 Northwich.

The winning clubs will receive £4,125 from the FA's prize draw, while the losing sides will pocket £1,375.
