MAIDENHEAD United have signed the former Reading winger Nana Owusu.
The 21-year-old was released by the Royals in the summer of 2016 and, after going on trial at Tranmere Rovers, spent last season at Basingstoke Town where he scored 12 goals in 41 appearances.
The move follows Chinedu McKenzie’s departure from the club earlier this week.
McKenzie said on Twitter: “Like to wish everyone at Maidenhead United all the best for the rest of the season. Been a pleasure being at the club. Big thanks to the fans.”
Magpies assistant manager Sam Lock responded, saying: “Good luck Chinedu. Only a matter of time before it takes off for you. Keep grafting. I have no doubt you will get there.”
