Ladies first team captain Eddie Westacott and coach Shona McCallin.
Maidenhead Hockey Club is looking to recruit someone passionate about the game, with strong management skills to take on one of two roles.
The club is seeking to appoint a director of hockey and a ladies team coach and want to hear from people with a positive, proactive attitude.
The new director of hockey is needed to maintain the club’s vision of continued growth and success across all teams and sections.
The role will be supported by a team of paid and volunteer coaches at the club and the candidate is required to provide leadership on both strategic direction and the day-to-day operations of the club’s senior and colts hockey programmes.
The new coach for the ladies’ 1sts and seconds will get the chance to work alongside Great Britain international Shona McCallin. The role will include attending weekend coaching sessions and matches as well as mid-week training, supporting the transition of junior colts into the senior ladies set up.
Lindsey Lucas, Chair of Maidenhead Hockey Club, said: “We are a close-knit club, driven by our passion and enthusiasm for the sport.
“We have a very open and welcoming culture, and we are always looking at ways that we can support our members as well as further develop our success.
“If anyone is interested in either of the roles, we have available, I’d really encourage you to get in touch.
“If you are not familiar with the club, we’d be very happy to provide you with a bit more information and insight into the club and what we are all about.”
Maidenhead Hockey Club has an active senior section and more than 300 colts playing at various age groups. Its main pitch is located at Altwood School Astroturf and there is a club house at the Maidenhead & Bray Sports Club. The club is keen to hear from anyone who wishes to be considered for these roles.
