It has now been confirmed that Windsor FC will be playing their home games at Beaconsfield Town’s Holloways Park in the 2023/24 season.
Football in Berkshire and the Combined Counties League (CCL) had previously reported – in a tweet that has now been deleted – that the Royalists had entered into a ground share agreement with Slough Town.
However, following the release of the CCL Division One fixtures on Friday (July 21), it has been revealed that this deal did not materialise.
A statement, included in the CCL fixture bulletin, said: “The proposed ground share between Slough Town and Windsor did not proceed and Windsor will now be ground sharing at Beaconsfield Town in 2023/24.”
A tweet from the Royalists added: “Windsor FC are pleased to confirm that we will be playing our home games at Beaconsfield Town’s Holloways Park for the coming season.
“Kevin Stott, Windsor’s founding director, says: ‘Holloways Park is a fantastic facility with a brilliant playing surface, and it will be great to be in partnership with such a well-run club. This will be more than a simple groundshare however – in addition, we are working collaboratively on a number of innovative ideas that can genuinely underpin and accelerate the ambitions of both clubs.’”

Windsor FC are yet to appoint a new manager after Mick Woodham made the decision to leave the club at the end of last season.
Woodham endured a testing 2022/23 campaign with the Royalists as they were relegated from the Combined Counties Premier Division North.
Given his CV and history in the game, he is hoping it won’t take much longer for another club to secure his services.
In 2017/18, Woodham guided Windsor to the quarter finals of the FA Vase and the following year, the Royalists reached the fifth round and the final of the Hellenic League Challenge Cup.
