Newly-relocated Greggs opens in larger Slough High Street unit

A popular bakery chain opened its newly-relocated store in Slough High Street on Friday.

The Greggs store, which was previously located at 223 High Street, has been relocated to a larger unit at U5, 221 High Street.

The store stocks a range of freshly-prepared fan favourites, including the sausage roll, steak bake and vegan alternatives.

Customers can also take advantage of deals throughout the day, including a breakfast combination offer of a breakfast roll or baguette with an orange juice or hot drink, served until 11am every day.

Greggs is also kicking off its summer menu with a range of Korean Chicken sandwiches, available in a wrap, burger, flatbread, and a Spicy Korean baguette, which are all made-to-order in selected shops nationwide.

A new red pepper, feta and spinach bake also features on the menu.

Greggs new caramelised biscuit latte is also available hot or over ice.

The new menu is available in stores nationwide, through the Greggs App and on Just Eat and Uber Eats.

A range of hot food options including southern fried chicken goujons, potato wedges and a variety of pizza slices such as the new chicken, sweetcorn and red onion pizza, spicy Mexican chicken, margherita pepperoni and pepperoni hot shot are also available.

After 4pm, customers can purchase any pizza slice with any drink from £2.95 instead of the usual £3.65.

Orders can also be made through Click + Collect via the Greggs App.

The app is free to download and provides access to a range of rewards.

For every nine purchases in different categories, from hot drinks to bakes, sandwiches and sweet treats, app users can get one for free.

New app users will receive a free hot drink of their choice upon registering, alongside a free sweet treat to celebrate their birthday every year.

The Slough store features a modern new look and seating.

The store is open from Monday to Saturday from 6am to 7pm and on Sundays from 7.30am to 6pm.

The store opening has created two new jobs for the area.
