Cocktail making competition held at Heston Blumenthal pub

Bartenders battled it out to mix drinks at a cocktail contest at The Hinds Head.

The competition, which was also held last year, saw eight mixologists from across the country battle it out to create the best drink using Copper Head Gin.

The contestants had to take part in two tasks.

David Ashton Hyde, pub manager at The Hinds Head, said: “This is the second year we’ve hosted the competition and once again it was a fantastic afternoon.

“It was really inspiring to see the finalists’ various cocktail creations. The competition is such a fantastic way of showcasing the talent of bartenders from across the country and not exclusively London.”

Kisa Yang from The Peony in London took first place,

Lachlan Rooney from Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh came second and Ben Crozier from Boozy Cow in Edinburgh came third.
