Braywood CC run out of steam in 39-run defeat to Peppard Stoke Row

Nasser Satti (2-20).

Braywood huffed and puffed but ultimately their chase ran out of steam against Peppard Stoke Row as they fell short by 39 runs.

Winning the toss, Braywood elected to field and looked to have limited their opponents to a reachable target of 122 all out.

Andy Watts (21) and Jamie Sharrock (57) were the main contributors to the away sides total as Kamran Hafeez (3-28), Nasser Satti (2-20) and Attiq Uddin (3-25) cut apart the visitors batting order.

But Anas Dad fell for a duck to begin the reply and despite Kamran Ahmed (19) and  Faisal Malik (14) getting decent runs on the board, the Braywood middle order struggled to deal with the bowling of Sam Fooks (4-48) and Alfie Burnett (3-11) as they finished 83 all out.
