The Cookham Bridge Rotary Club has entertained 22 of its Norwegian counterparts on a trip to the UK.
The Norwegian Rotarians made the trip from the tiny village of Vestnes, on the north west coast on August 12.
Trips out with the Cookham Rotarians included a boat trip to Windsor with a visit to the castle, a trip to Oxford and a gala dinner at Winter Hill Golf Club.
Vestnes Rotary president Ivar Arne Gjetnes said: “Some of us have visited parts of the UK, but it has been a great experience to visit the Thames Valley and we have enjoyed staying with our Rotarian hosts.”
In June, the Cookham Bridge Rotary Club took a visit to Vestnes to stay with the Norwegian Rotarians, and the reverse trip inviting the Norwegians to stay in the UK was ‘returning the hospitality shown to us by the Vestnes Rotary’ according to Cookham Bridge President Chris Vance.
