More than 100 primary school children enjoyed a week of sports and activities at the Holy Trinity Cookham Kids Holiday Club.
Hosted at Holy Trinity Church in Churchgate, the annual week is a mixture of sports, crafts, drama and bible teachings. Each day started with a message from St Mark’s gospel.
This is the third year the club has been running, and it brings in children from the church schools from the village as well as those who are new to the church.
Christine Taylor, organiser of the club, said: “It was a very good week, we had over 100 children and about 50 volunteers.
“I think it’s very worthwhile, I think it gives us the opportunity to reach so many children about God’s work and they all seem to enjoy it.”
The Cookham Kids Holiday Club ran from Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29.
