Show off your horticultural skills for Cookham in Bloom competition

Emma Billingham

There is still time to enter your front gardens for the Cookham in Bloom competition.

The Cookham Parish Council-run contest is inviting residents to nominate either their own or other gardens within the parish, of any size.

Judges from Cookham Horticultural Society will be looking for colour, tidiness, choice of plants and overall impact.

Cllr Andrew Nye, chairman of the Footpaths and Open Spaces Committee, said: “As part of our In Bloom initiatives, we are delighted to be organising our regular Best Front Garden competition for Cookham.

This is a great opportunity for residents to showcase their brilliant front gardens and be recognised for their efforts which brighten our local community.”

Nominations will be accepted until Friday, July 15.
