'Frank Sinatra', a bucking bronco and sunshine all made a welcome appearance at Uncle Tom's Cabin on Saturday to raise hundreds of pounds for a charity.
The event for George Ferriman, a local boy diagnosed with leukaemia, saw crowds gather in the pub's garden to enjoy burgers and music, themed around the American Independence Day celebrations taking place this week.
Money was raised by the pub, in Hills Lane, by donating £1 from every meal and 50p per American beer sold to Fight for George.
A Sinatra singer serenaded the revellers with the King of Swing's famous hits, while children attempted to stay on the bucking bronco ride.
Sam Sethi, a resident who helped to arrange the event, said: "It was a great day, the weather helped.
"I have known about how ill George has been for a while."
