The achievements of local voluntary and community groups across the Royal Borough are set to be celebrated through the first VCS Partnership Awards.
The awards will recognise ‘outstanding contributions’ through a range of categories.
These include:
Anyone living, working or studying in RBWM can nominate a volunteer or group who deserves recognition.
The VCS Partnership was established in 2024 with several partners, including the RBWM communities team, the Windsor and Maidenhead Community Forum (WAMCF), WAM Get Involved, the Berkshire Community Foundation, I Love Windsor CIC and the East Berkshire Community Learning and Skills Service.
The organisations are working together to ‘strengthen and support’ the community and voluntary sector in the Royal Borough.
Paul Samuels, from WAMCF, said: “We are all very excited about these new Awards and look forward to celebrating the great work that goes on in the Royal Borough.”
Nominations are open and will close on Monday, October 13.
The winners will be announced at the VCS Partnership Festive Forum at Taplow Court in December.
