A national health and wellness retailer has confirmed its Slough store will be closing and a ‘new, bigger and better’ store will open on the High Street.
Holland & Barrett will be closing its current store in the Queensmere Shopping Centre and moving into a larger venue with ‘an even wider range of products’.
The new store will also feature a bigger store team of experts to support customers.
As part of the retailer’s £70million investment into the transformation of its technology, stores and new product development, it continually reviews its locations.
This includes opening new stores, merging some smaller stores into one larger store, and in some cases closing stores where a strong customer demand no longer exists.
Holland & Barrett is opening and refurbishing more than 200 stores in the UK and is investing in ‘at least one store a day’ as part of a store refresh and refurbishment programme in the UK and Ireland.
A Holland & Barrett spokesperson said: “We can confirm we will be closing H&B Slough in the Queensmere Shopping Centre later next month and opening our new, bigger and better store on the High Street.
“We are delighted to be opening a larger store with an even wider range of products and an increased store team of experts to support the community on their wellness journeys.
“We look forward to welcoming our customers from our Slough store soon.”
