Face2Face Maidenhead Business Show to return for second year this June

08:32PM, Sunday 11 May 2025

A business show supporting local companies and providing an opportunity to network is set to return for its second year this June.

The Face2Face Maidenhead Business Show will be back at Cookham Moor Hall on Friday, June 13 with a full-day networking event.

The show will mark the anniversary of monthly business networking event Face2Face Maidenhead Business Networking, which is held at different venues around the Maidenhead area with a different guest speaker each month.

In June, five expert speakers will headline the Business Show.

The events are run by Maidenhead resident and content marketer Emma Kisby who set up the website Face2Face Maidenhead, which she grew in lockdown to showcase local businesses through a directory.

This has since grown into also featuring local community activities, what’s on guides, blogs and upcoming events.

Taking place in the Berkshire Conference Suite at the CIM in Cookham, guests will enjoy a day of networking with other business owners or anyone seeking networking opportunities.

The speakers will have scheduled slots throughout the day to deliver their talks and each of them will speak on different business topics.

This year’s line-up includes social media specialist Kati Noakes, video marketing expert Mike Jelves, mental performance psychologist Chris Hunt, team dynamics expert Lindsay Wright and coach for creatives Nina Lenton.

Emma has been hosting monthly in-person pay-as-you-go networking events, open to anyone to attend, since 2023.

A range of venues are used to host networking events, not only to provide variety, but also because it brings people to venues they may have never visited before.

In the past, events have been held at venues such as The Lord Grenfell, The Eco Action Hub, El Cerdo, Thames Hospice, Dawkes, Taplow House Hotel, Padel Maidenhead, The Thatched Cottage and Chai Cocoa.

Emma said: “I’m all about supporting local, and I have a platform in which to do that – whether it’s my website, my social media, podcast or in person events.

“When I began networking two years ago, I had no idea if people would come along - but they did.

“The last six months have consistently sold out and I’m really looking forward to hosting the second Face2Face Business Show at the fabulous Cookham Moor Hall.

“We’ve got a lovely buffet lunch, teas and coffees throughout the day and a local photographer called Dave Cox to capture the moments.

“I’ve also got some great things from local businesses again this year to go inside the goodie bags which will be given to attendees.

“I have put myself out of my comfort zone organising and hosting these events by myself, but I’ve met some really supportive fellow business owners along the way.

“It’s a fantastic community.”

Tickets for the Business Show are now on sale and cost £49, with the Early Bird price at £39.
