Five men and one woman have been arrested for public order and assault offences following an altercation in a road in Holyport in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police stated that at around 3.31am officers were called to Trenchard Road to reports of ‘a number of people involved in an altercation’.
Police said those were involved then went into a property on the same road.
Officers attended and those within the property ‘have refused to comply’.
The statement added: “After a while those inside the property have then come out and officers have arrested five men and one woman on public order and assault offences.
“They remain in custody at this time. We do not believe there was any danger to the wider public as a result of this incident.”
