A weekend of events including a Christmas market and entertainment from Once Upon A Bus took place at The Crown in Bray.
More than 350 people attended A Christmas Carol workshop, which took place on Saturday and Sunday.
Bray-based business Once Upon a Bus told the story of 'A Christmas Carol' to families and Santa helped switch on the Christmas lights.
Arti Sharma Grey, from the company, said: "It went really well, everyone really enjoyed it.
"The aim of the story was to get Scrooge to mend his ways and by doing so Father Christmas appeared.
"During the story we sang a song and children performed actions, we had a joke telling challenge between the children and the elf and the story ended with Father Christmas appearing in the tent during the Poem 'Twas the Night before Christmas'."
