The BFG, James and the Giant Peach, and Ooompa Loompas were some of the characters at Holyport Primary School as the children celebrated Roald Dahl.
The entire school dressed up on Friday, October 21, to celebrate the last day before half term.
Amanda Featherstone, head teacher said: “We’ve had an amazing first half term.
“We celebrated all the Roald Dahl characters in a special assembly this morning.”
Students have also been entering a Revolting Rhyming competition and created stories with the characters and unexpected endings. The renowned children’s author’s 100th birthday last month.
Amanda said: “We postponed celebrating Roald Dahl until the end of this half term as I had just taken over as head teacher in September. We’ve had a busy half term and the children have made great progress.”
