A body recovered from the River Thames in Bray on Sunday has been identified as an Ascot man.
The man has been named as Barry Stewart, 68, of Church Road.
An inquest into his death was opened yesterday (Wednesday) but a date has not yet been set.
The body was recovered from the River Thames near Monkey Island Lane at about 11am.
Firefighters from Maidenhead Fire Station and Caversham Road’s water rescue team attended the scene.
Thames Valley Police said it was treating the death as unexplained but it is not thought to be suspicious.
