A 104-year-old grandmother celebrated her birthday at Dorney Lake.
Grandmother-of-three Freda Weyman, who lives in Willows Riverside Park, celebrated the occasion with more than 40 friends and family at a surprise birthday tea on Tuesday, September 20.
Her daughter, Helga said: “We kept it a surprise right until the last minute. Mum thought she was just going for a drive around.
“We had family members travel down all the way from Poole for her birthday.
“The staff at Dorney were all wonderful and we’d like to thank everyone that came down.”
Freda was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1912 and moved to England in 1947, after the Second World War.
She settled in Liverpool and then married her husband John and had two children, Helga and Peter.
She moved to Willows Riverside Park in 2000 to be closer to Helga.
Freda said: “I’ve lived a happy and lively life.”
