In the penultimate race of the season racing driver Harry King came third with a podium finish.
The 15-year-old driver from Moneyrow Green was racing at Silverstone in the Ginetta Junior Championship.
The young driver from Desborough College is now inside the top eight of the championship standings after the race on Saturday, September 17.
He said: “It’s been another great weekend and I’m really pleased with how it’s gone.
“The car has been faultless all weekend and the team has done a fantastic job with it once again.
“I felt able to push hard and race my way forwards, so two overall podiums and three strong rookie results is brilliant for both me, and the team as a whole.”
The championship final will take place at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent this weekend.
