Year six pupils celebrated the end of school with a production of Lord of Orbs, Taubran and Nico’s Excellent Adventure.
The children, who will be starting secondary school in September, performed the show for classmates at Holyport Primary School.
Performances took place on Tuesday and Thursday last week.
Victoria Huxtable, year six teacher, said: “The children have worked incredibly hard on writing the script for their play.
“After having written the script in groups, the children were given an opportunity to design and make their props and background scenery.
“They have also choreographed the dances and learned all of the songs by heart.
“They have been encouraged to take on all of the roles that would be necessary in a stage production, including that of director.
“They have done themselves proud in working together and creating a fantastic production.
“All of the teaching staff involved in the project are also extremely impressed with their talents.”
