Several Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (WSEH) AC members have been ranked as the UK’s best in the National Track and Field rankings for 2021.
Jessica Knight, fresh from representing Team GB at the Olympics, placed as best in the country for both the 400m and 400m hurdles.
Fellow Olympian Taylor Campbell took top spot in the Senior Hammer with his throw of 74m98.
Morgan Lake, who looked set for a medal in Tokyo before a cruelly timed foot injury ruled her out of the high jump final, placed third in her discipline.
The club boasts two national leaders at U20 level too, with Jodie Smith top of the U20 High Jump (1m80) and Temi Ojora best in the Triple Jump (12m92).
The talented Smith secured three further top ten finishes with 2nd in the Long Jump on 6m17, 3rd in the 100m hurdles with 13.86 seconds and 9th in the U20 javelin with 39m60.
Some 50 plus WSEH athletes made the top 10 in the country, showcasing the talent throughout the club, with many more set to follow in the footsteps of the club’s summer Olympians.
