Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow (WSEH) AC athletes impressed at the Berkshire track and Field Championships on Sunday with a number of gold medals are personal bests being broken by members throughout the day.
The event held at Palmer Park in Reading saw a number of age ranges compete across a variety of track and field events.
Jack Staunton won a gold medal and broke his personal best with a 2.8m clearance in the u15s Pole Vault as well as grabbing another PB in the 300m.
Alex Stirzaker picked up two gold medals in the u15s 80m Hurdles and high jump as well as a PB in the 100m.
Molly Staunton’s showing in the u13s 75m, 600m and shot put saw her break three personal bests as well as picking up the AAA badge award for her sprint.
It was gold for Demari Gumbs in the u15s long jump, adding an 80m hurdles silver medal and a 100m pb while Jessica Woodford and Abigail Woodford both personal bests in the u17s and u15s hammer throw and shot put events respectively. And Nina Balut claimed a bronze and a personal best in the u15 discuss with a distance of 24m.
