SportsTALK: Table toppers

Maidenhead United managed to rise from the dead over the Halloween weekend to maintain their seven point advantage at the top of the league.

The Magpies hit back from 2-0 to gain a draw at home to Hungerford Town and sports reporter Dan Darlington catches up with manager Alan Devonshire and midfielder Ryan Upward to gain their take on the result.

There’s a round-up of football results, including a 4-1 win for Slough Town, which saw on loan Elijah Adebayo net a hat-trick on his Rebels debut to guide them through to the next round of the FA Trophy.

Sports editor Graeme Copas picks the bones from Maidenhead Rugby Club’s narrow loss to Newbury Blues, ending a seven match win streak.

We hear from Maidenhead head coach Russell Bolton, who said the final result was probably a fair reflection of the game, and Newbury boss Lee Goodall, who is already looking forward to the return fixture.

The team recap the rest of the rugby results and reflect on a big week for Marlow, who have had cameras around the club as part of filming for a grassroots sports video. The players proved not to be camera shy, as they rollicked to a 98-0 win over Stow.
