Speaking Freely

"Another good day of training completed. We were out in the K2 this afternoon and it felt great. I'm starting to count down the days until race day. Now only 5 days to go. I'm starting to feel excited now as it gets closer.

It's also inspiring watching the other sports. Many congratulations to Emma Puly(?) on her silver medal in the cycling.
Luckily we have a link to BBC in our athletes lounge at the hotel.  If people are not training, racing or eating they are generally glued to the TV and the Olympic action.

"There is a great atmosphere here at our base with the rowers and the slalom team. The rowers had a great day on the water, making 8 finals. I'm looking forward to watching them from the grandstand at the weekend.
PS the Chinese appear to have restricted a number of websites including my blog. I cannot access the web page here. So I can't type these messages.

"Luckily however I don't need to because my sponsors SpinVox have a service where I can call a number, speak my message and it automatically gets posted to the site within seconds. An amazing service and incredibly useful on an occasion like this otherwise I would be struggling to get my news to you so promptly and efficiently"

Anna's blog is spoken through SpinVox, a service that converts voicemail messages into text. To find out more log onto http://www.spinvox.com.
