A record number of schools are taking part in this year's Maidenhead Junior Regatta tomorrow.

A total of 85 crews from local schools and clubs ranging from junior 12s to juniors 16s have been confirmed.

The first race starts at 8.16am and the last race is scheduled for 5.12pm with boats going off every four minutes throughout the day.

Crews boat from the Maidenhead Rowing Club boathouse on River Road 500m upstream, with the finish a few yards downstream of the railway bridge.

The winners will be presented with their prizes in the clubhouse shortly after the last race by Alan Campbell, winner of the Diamond Sculls at Henley and the GB single sculler at the Beijing Olympics.
