Magpies to face Bishops Stortford in FA Trophy

9:12am Tue 24th Nov 09

Maidenhead United have been drawn away to Blue Square South rivals Bishops Stortford in the first round proper of the FA Trophy.

The tie will be played on Saturday 12th December and is worth £5,000 to the winner.

Historically the town is not a happy hunting ground for the Magpies. They have won just once in Hertfordshire, in 2003, in nineteen trips.

Maidenhead beat Bath City 1-0 on Saturady to set up next month's clash.
