Taylor sews up two more points for Marlow RFC

12:00am Thu 6th Mar 08

MARLOW RFC extended their winning run to three in a row and massively increased their chances of beating relegation - something that seemed highly unlikely just a few weeks ago.
And they did it the hard way, coming from behind against old adversaries Windsor towin 26-12.
Coach Jon Taylor added: “The only downside was a possible fractured leg for Ewan Jones which held the game up for 10 minutes. He’s having more x-rays to see how bad it is.”
The win all-but relegates Windsor, and on Saturday, Marlow are at Tadley - another team in the relegation mix.
Taylor said: “If we can win on Saturday, I think that could well relegate them also. That means that two of the three relegation places will be filled.
“We then have some tough games against Salisbury, Abbey and Chippenham, but we are one of the form teams now and we can do well against these teams.”
