A talented young actress, who attends Hurst Lodge School near Ascot, saw her character brutally killed off in this week’s episode of TV’s Game of Thrones.

Kerry Ingram, 16, has played bookish Princess Shireen Baratheon in the Sky Atlantic series since Season Three aired in 2013.

After the screening of this week’s grizzly episode, which showed her character burned at the stake, Kerry tweeted: “Thank you for all the lovely messages about episode 9.

“I’ve had a wonderful journey with Game of Thrones over the last three years. #ripShireen.”
