Firefighters were called to the car park beneath the Sainsbury’s building on Uxbridge Road, Slough around 4pm today (Wednesday).
The driver of the vehicle was alerted that his car was on fire as he drove into the car park.
A spokesperson from Langley Fire Station said: “We have no idea how the fire started but apparently [the driver] was seen driving in with flames coming out from underneath the car.”
The firefighters evacuated the building above and extinguished the fire with a hose reel but also had to use two breathing apparatuses.
