More than £1,500 raised for Norden Farm through photography exhibition and auction

An exhibition by some of the best photographers in Maidenhead has raised more than £500 for Norden Farm Centre for the Arts.

The Norden Images display at the Altwood Road venue has been running since Tuesday, June 14, and is set to ahve featured more than 200 prints by the time it closes on Saturday, July 16.

On Friday, 60 of the best pieces from the show were put up for auction, raising £740.

This brought the total collected for the arts centre by the initiative, which has been run by Maidenhead Camera Club to more than £1,500 so far.

Paul Morgan, chairman of the club said: “I think it’s been a great credit to all the organisers of the show.

“There was a really good turnout for the auction on Friday and we managed to raise more than £700 from it on the evening.

“People were very impressed by the photos and Norden Farm seemed very pleased to see so many people there and the support it’s given them.”
