A muddy obstacle course awaits a ‘Tough Mum’ from Maidenhead as part of a Good Morning Britain challenge.
Mum-of-three Holly Clarke is one of 100 inspirational mums picked by the ITV show to take part in a 5km obstacle course created by Tough Mudder.
Taking place in Grantham on Wednesday, presenters and celebrity mums will be taking part alongside the chosen competitors.
A mixture of mud slides, swimming through cold water, high wall climbs and jumps await the marketing executive, who works for the Advertiser.
Holly set up not-for-profit organisation Stand Out For Autism after her son Harry, five, was diagnosed with autism nearly two years ago.
She found out her application was successful six weeks ago and has been training hard to make sure she is ready for the challenge.
The Bell Street resident said: “I just told my story about how autism has changed mine and my family’s life and the challenges we have overcome as well as setting up Stand Out for Autism.
“When I found out I was excited but nervous at the same time, and I still am now but I’m looking forward to it.
“Thanks to my trainer Dan McCormack I feel physically and mentally ready to take on this challenge.”
The event takes place on Harry’s birthday.
Holly added: “I will be doing it for Harry on the day.”
